Short Game Synopsis

Embark on a nostalgic road trip in this experimental, atmospheric rhythm game about being in a car. In a future where cars drive themselves, an AI companion weaves personalized journeys from a century of collected memories. Relive cherished moments, discover forgotten histories, and connect with fellow travelers through the shared experience of being on the road—every note, a memory, every song, a lifetime.

Gameplay

1. After entering the game, players will select levels from an interface that mimics a car GPS map. Each destination on the map interface corresponds to a unique level, with unique background music and note node design. Currently, only one level has been implemented.

1. In each level, the only action players need to perform is to press the controller's buttons at the right moment based on the rhythm. In addition to the rhythm, the street lights approaching are a reference for the moment of the key press and will coincide with the indicator (the tip of the finger) at the right moment.

1. A tutorial section is implemented at the beginning of the current level. It doesn’t have accompanying music, but a series of street lamps will continue to be generated until the player successfully hits them at the correct timing required by the visual cues. The game will start after the player hits the notes consecutively several times.

1. Every successful hit will accumulate the combo meter. At 10 combo, a starscape will appear. At 20, an aurora-like effect will appear and move according to the music. After they appear, they will pulsate at every other 10 combo.

1. Pressing the trigger at incorrect timing or missing a note will reset the combo meter, removing the environmental effects.
